List Building – What Are the Tools I Need to Build a List, and What Is the Cost?
The tools you need to build a list are:
1) a web site
2) a squeeze page
3) a giveaway product for your squeeze page
4) an autoresponder
5) traffic to your squeeze page
How much will all of that cost?
You can get a decent web host for about $10 a month.
You can build a squeeze page for free.
You can create your own giveaway product for free.
You can get an autoresponder for about $20 a month.
You can get traffic to your web site for free, if you use article marketing, like I do.
I am going to focus on article marketing for a moment here – as that will be the hardest work you will do.
To generate the best traffic to your squeeze page, so you can monetize that squeeze page and build a list, and then sell to that list and monetize that list, you should be writing articles – especially if you are on a budget.
So how do you do that?
Once you have chosen a niche, then write articles that focus on things people in your niche would be interested in learning about. I focus especially on the needs of people who are buyers of my products. So I do not like to write articles about things that only people searching for free information might be interested in. I write articles that specifically target people who are interested in building a real business, and are willing to spend money to find out how to do it.
