The results can be filtered further such that their interest or hobbies are related to what you are currently marketing. It will be much easier for you to sell your products and services that way.

If you want to increase your number of friends exponentially, however, there are a number of activities that you can do. First, you can make use of automated software. There are legal ones out there such as Friend Bot and Friend Adder that permits you to add as many friends as possible per day. You can further customize them so you can have better chances of being accepted and not considered spammer by other users.
