There are some people who are content to have a single social network page on one social networking site; however, there are people who enjoy meeting more and more people and reconnecting with people from their past. These are those people who tend to create more than one personal page on a few social networking sites. They often believe that there are people that they might know who created a personal page on one site but not on another and for them to be able to reconnect with these people, or to reconnect other people with those that they are also acquainted with, the best way would be to have a page on a few notable social networking sites.
This kind of an idea is good if you are aiming to find people you have not been in touch with and might only be found on one site or the other. If you are aiming to help reconnect others with friends from the past, you may need to do more than create a page on each social networking site however. You see, while you may be able to see John on one site and Paul on another but can't get them to reconnect because they both stay with only one social network site, you may need to go beyond having multiple social networking pages. The best thing for you to do would be to link together all your social network pages. How you can do this is pretty simple and can be easily facilitated with a little copy and paste technique.
Majority of social networking sites have areas where you can write things about yourself, your interests, where you are, what you do and other information that may be useful in helping people you know realize that you are the person that they think you are. One way you can link your social network pages is to copy and paste the URLs of your other personal social network pages on these sites by copying and pasting them. You can copy and paste the URLS of all your social networking pages and place them on one area of your personal information sheet with the note that these are your other social networking pages and you are inviting your friends to view your profile there as well.
